Sarah Stalling and the Southwestern Community College women's soccer team of Coos Bay, Ore., continued their success last weekend.

Southwestern tied Shoreline College in Washington 1-1 and beat Skagit Valley College of Mt. Vernon Wash., 6-0. Stalling scored the only goal against Shoreline and also scored once against Skagit Valley.

In its last seven games Southwestern has outscored its opponents 70-2 and has moved into first place in the Southern Division of the Northwest Athletic Association covering Washington and Oregon.

Baseball academy seeking donations

The Ray Austin Memorial Baseball Academy is set to begin its sixth year of pitching and hitting instruction under president Tim Terry and hitting coach John Simms.

The biggest challenge facing RAMB is to find a new warehouse location. The Nevada Appeal warehouse, which has been RAMB's home for the past two years, won't be available due to increased rent.

RAMB is seeking donations and those who donate $250 or more go on the Friends of RAMB bulletin board. For more information, call Terry, (775) 291-9070.
