The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• Katrina Marie Blanchard, 33, assistant manager for Tuesday Morning, was arrested at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday on suspicion of felony embezzlement, obtaining money under false pretenses and forgery. Blanchard allegedly stole from her employer. Bail was set at $15,000.


• Gregory Allen Pierson, 36, unemployed from Carson City, was arrested at 11:14 p.m. at Sherman Lane and Panamint Drive on suspicion of felony grand larceny, possession of stolen property, using false identification to avoid prosecution, gross misdemeanor possession of burglary tools, fictitious registration and driving without a license. Bail was set at $27,794.


• Gabino Berrera, 25, a landscaper from Carson City, was arrested at 11:47 p.m. Wednesday at Curry and 10th streets on suspicion of misdemeanor second-offense drunken driving, two counts of gross misdemeanor child endangerment, driving on a suspended registration, driving without a license and driving without insurance. Bail was set at $8,838.


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:


• Hit-and-run accident report in the 900 block of South Roop Street at 6:54 a.m.


• Vehicle theft report in the 2600 block of South Carson Street at 9:39 a.m.


• Accident at Silver Sage and Snyder Avenue at 11:34 a.m.


• Battery report in the 1500 block of East Fifth Street at 3:26 p.m.


• Vehicle burglary report in the 200 block of Allouette Way.


Lyon County


The following are some of the 93 calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:


• Misdemeanor arrest on Highway 95 Alternate in Mason Valley at 1:04 a.m.


• Commercial burglary report on Brown Drive in Mound House at 1:42 p.m.


• Vehicle fire on Kit Kat Road in Mound House at 5:57 p.m.


• Fire on Picetti Way in Fernley at 7:18 p.m.


• Misdemeanor arrest on Highway 50 East in Silver Springs at 8:21 p.m.


Storey County


The following are some of the 11 calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:


• A single-vehicle accident on Waltham Way at 12:19 p.m.


• An arrest was made on Canyon Way at 3:06 p.m.


• A hit-and-run accident at 10:35 p.m. on Waltham Way.
