Airport Road Church VBS starts Monday
Crocodiles, fireflies, and swamplands will be the environment for the annual vacation Bible school at the Airport Road Church of Christ, 3209 Airport Road in Carson City.
"Crocodile Dock" is the location for Bible stories, games, crafts, refreshments and fun songs that will raise the roof. Kids from preschool through middle school are invited each evening, Monday through Friday, July 20-24, 6:30-8:30 p.m. All activities are free and open to the public. Service to focus on knowing, believing
Western Nevadans are invited to discuss the difference between knowing and believing at a worship service in Carson City.
The discussion begins
at 10 a.m. today at the Carson City Community Center.
The session is sponsored by ECKANKAR, Religion of the Light and Sound of God.
During this one-hour Worship Service, a skilled facilitator will give a brief talk, followed by readings, a small-group discussion and a short contemplation.
