American Century Championship celebrates the holidays with discount on season pass

Holiday shoppers can give the gift of Lake Tahoe’s premier summer event this season with American Century Championship patron season passes. This stocking stuffer for the golfer or sports fan is available at a discounted price Monday, Dec. 1 through Wednesday, Dec. 24, and is good for all six days of the tournament next July.

Organizers of the 26th annual sports and celebrity star-studded golfing event held at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course are offering a $15 discount on season passes through Christmas. The Tuesday through Sunday ticket for events held July 14-19 is $55 (regularly $70) and can be purchased online at http://www.southtahoe.activitytickets.com/type/golf.

The limited-time special offer begins Monday, and up to eight passes can be purchased. Daily tickets and patron badge season passes will be available online beginning April 1, 2015.

The ACC is a week of sun, autograph opportunities and high-stakes golf set in beautiful Tahoe South, where more than 80 pro athletes and entertainment celebrities compete for their share of the purse. Long considered the pinnacle of celebrity golf events, the tournament regularly features an all-star list of players. Stephen Curry, Aaron Rodgers, Charles Barkley, Ray Romano, Larry the Cable Guy, John Elway and Jerry Rice are among the sports and entertainment stars and Hall of Famers who’ve competed.

With an impressive field that highlights notable returning players and newcomers, the American Century Championship held at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course at Tahoe South remains the longest running and most prominent of celebrity golf tournaments.
