The Truckee-Carson Irrigation District will hold its annual water users meeting Monday in Fallon.

The annual event is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Churchill County Commissioners Chambers, 155 N. Taylor St. The agenda is posted on the district’s website http://www.tcid.org.

A second meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday in Fernley at the City Council Chambers, 595 Silver Lace Blvd.

An agenda for this event will be posted on the website soon.

The TCID Board of Directors will speak about this season’s water orders and allocations. Water users can start ordering water on Monday and deliveries will commence once 1,000 acre-feet of water has been ordered.

The allocation for 2014 is currently set at 40 percent for the Carson and Truckee Divisions. The directors will continue to evaluate conditions throughout the season, which is expected to end July 31 or when storage levels at Lahontan Reservoir reach 8,000 acre-feet.
