Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Man arrested for allegedly threatening people with shotgun

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

TUESDAY

At noon, Katrina Kaufman, 48, and Dale Welch, 47, both of Carson City were arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, felony possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies responded to reports of a couple possibly selling drugs at the Carson Street Roundhouse Inn. Bail for each was set at $13,500.

At 12:27 p.m., a 50-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI-first offense drugs after deputies responded to reports of a possibly intoxicated driver near the 3400 block of Goni Road. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 2:14 p.m., Bradley Williams, 53, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony assault with a deadly weapon after deputies responded to reports of a man threatening people with a shotgun near the Goni water tower. Bail was set at $20,000.

At 4:26 p.m., a 19-year-old Brentwood, Calif., a man was arrested on suspicion of DUI-marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies initiated a traffic stop near 2nd and Carson Streets. Bail was set at $2,000.

At 7:17 p.m., a 56-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of trespassing after deputies responded to reports of an unwanted subject at the Carson Street Nugget. Bail was set at $150.

At 11:12 p.m., a 47-year-old transient woman was arrested on suspicion of battery and trespassing after deputies responded to reports of an unknown problem at the Carson Street Nugget. Reports say a woman was trespassing at the casino and when security approached her, she punched them in the face. Bail was set at $1,150.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
