Woman arrested on suspicion of felony parole and probation violation says Carson City Sheriff’s Office

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

Carson City

FRIDAY

At 3:31 p.m., a 37-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of petit larceny and violation of bail conditions after deputies responded to reports of a man taking alcohol from the William Street Smith. Bail was set at $3,250.

At 5:06 p.m., a 60-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court after deputies responded to reports of a neighbor dispute near the 1600 block of Airport Road. Bail was set at $491.

At 6:10 p.m., an 18-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of embezzlement after deputies responded to reports of a man taking money from the Market Street Home Depot. Bail was set at $1,000.

SATURDAY

At 1:07 a.m., a 23-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI-second offense after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 3300 block of Highway 50. Bail was set at $2,500.

At 8:09 a.m., Lilly Stewart, 25, of Reno was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, DUI and possession of a dangerous drug after deputies responded to reports of an accident near Winnie Lane and Carson Street. Bail was set at $4,500.

At 11:25 a.m., Melissa Lewis, 39, a transient, was arrested on suspicion of felony providing false identification to avoid prosecution, felony possession of a controlled substance, violation of a suspended sentence and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies responded to reports of a domestic dispute near the 1300 block of Roop Street. Bail was set at $16,500.

At 12:05 p.m., a 48-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of violation of bail conditions after deputies responded to reports of an intoxicated subject at the Carson Street America’s Best Value Inn. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 1:29 p.m., Timothy Laney, 36, of Dayton, was arrested on suspicion of felony probation and parole violation after deputies responded to assist another agency with a business check at the William Street Gold Dust West Casino. No bail was set.

At 3:24 p.m., a 34-year-old Reno man was arrested on suspicion of no insurance, speed, expired registration, no valid drivers license and carrying a concealed weapon without a permit after deputies initiated a traffic stop at College and Otha. Bail was set at $2,275.

At 3:45 p.m., Sandi Aldrich, 47, a transient, was arrested on suspicion of felony parole and probation violation and unlawful taking of a motor vehicle after deputies conducted a warrant service near the 2000 block of College Parkway. No bail was set.

At 5:00 p.m., Nancy Griffin, 53, of Reno, was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, felony state parole and probation violation, possession of drug paraphernalia, obedience to traffic control device, suspended drivers license and DUI warrant after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Highway 50 and Empire Ranch Road. At the same incident, Terry Bauback, 36, of Silver Springs, was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail for Griffin was set at $5,040 and bail for Bauback was set at $3,500.

At 7:12 p.m., a 24-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court after deputies conducted a warrant service near the 1500 block of Stewart Street. Bail was set at $5,000.

At 9:41 p.m., a 34-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of failure to comply after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Roop and 5th Streets. No bail was set.

At 10:08 p.m., a 62-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of violation of a suspended sentence after deputies responded to reports of a welfare check at the Carson Street Nugget Casino. Bail was set at $1,000.

SUNDAY

At 12:32 a.m., a 28-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of an extended protection order violation after deputies conducted a business check at the Carson Street Nugget Casino. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 7:41 a.m., a 56-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of violation of bail conditions after deputies conducted a pedestrian stop near Saliman and Depot Road. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 10:09 a.m., a 29-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of neglect of duty warrant after deputies conducted a warrant service near the 600 block of Hot Springs Road. Bail was set at $1,500.

At 4:17 p.m., a 20-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of violation of a suspended sentence and contempt of court after deputies conducted a warrant service near the 1000 block of 2nd Street. Bail was set at $2,000.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes.
