Man arrested on child neglect, domestic battery, says Carson City Sheriff’s Office

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

WEDNESDAY

At 6:43 p.m., a 36-year-old Minden man was arrested on suspicion of child neglect, domestic battery and ex-felon failed to register after deputies responded to reports of a child custody dispute near the 4700 block of Conte Drive. The suspect was located and arrested near the 1500 block of Fire Box Road. Bail was set at $5,650.

At 7:08 p.m., a 47-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after deputies responded to reports of an intoxicated driver at the William Street Jack in the Box.

At 11:51 p.m., a 34-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court and a battery warrant after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Roop and Long streets. Bail was set at $1,000.

THURSDAY

At 1:12 a.m., a Coleville, Calif., man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery near the 3200 block of Imperial Way. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 4:35 a.m., a 62-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of violation of a suspended sentence after deputies responded to reports of an intoxicated subject at the Carson Tahoe Hospital. Bail was set at $1,000.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
