Geri Meyer, a retired therapist, will lead a discussion about challenges that come with aging at 10 a.m. March 4 and 18. Meyer leads Embracing Change and Aging at 10 a.m. on the first and third Saturdays of the month.

Learn about the history of Incline Village and how the resort town grew out of the ashes of a decimated forest that was logged in the 19th century at 10 a.m. March 14. Mark McLaughlin’s lecture will reveal Incline’s legacy that began with a pre-World War II plan for an Austrian-style ski resort in the “Tahoe Alps.”

Visit the Emerald Isle through the music of the Regency Strings with violinist Cecilia Yale and string bassist George Worth. The St. Patrick’s Day celebration will be at 2:30 p.m. March 17.

Live music with David Lewis, a veteran of the music scene, will be at 2:30 p.m. March 28. The performance is presented by the Sierra Arts Foundation.

Juanita Westbrook will be returning for a presentation of local heroine, Alice L. R. Smith, know for helping to achieve equal rights in Nevada. Westbrook’s performance, at 2:30 p.m. March 29, will shed light on how racism in Reno motivated Smith to fight for equal rights.
