Woman arrested in Carson City after marijuana found

A California woman was arrested after deputies located nearly a pound of marijuana, counterfeit bills and stolen credit cards.

Deputies arrested Francesca Bertolini, 26, of Walnut Creek, Calif., after responding to reports of a suspicious subject at the Jackson’s Gas Station at 5th and Saliman. Upon arrival, the store clerk informed deputies a woman was trying to buy prepaid Visas with a stolen credit card. The woman had been in the day before making the same purchase with the same card.

When searching her person, deputies found a glass pipe in her waistband as well as the keys to a stolen Jeep in her pocket that was parked at the gas station. Inside the vehicle they located 10 marijuana pipes, drug scales with marijuana residue on them, a marijuana grinder, one pound of marijuana, a counterfeit $100 bill, 10 grams a psychedelic mushrooms and a wallet and ID of a subject who reported the items missing.

Deputies however discovered Francesca also had used the alias name Kendra Miller out of Sparks. Currently, it’s under investigation which is her real name and they discovered she may have several identities created.

Bertolini was charged with felony fraud, felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, two counts of felony possession of stolen property, felony possession of a controlled substance, felony possession of a forged bill, felony false identification to avoid prosecution, felony fugitive from justice, felony possession of a stolen vehicle, felony uttering a forged instrument, seven counts of possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription and 13 counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $123,000.
