Road report as of Wednesday. The following applies to Nov. 15-21:
Road closures are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:
• Caroline Street between Mountain Street and Phillips Street will be closed, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., for sewer and water replacement activity.
• Curry Street between 5th Street and Musser Street will be closed in the northbound direction, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for road construction. Pedestrian closures and detours will also be in place.
• Kings Canyon Road west of Longview Way remains closed for roadway reconstruction. Only local residential access will be provided. The Waterfall Trailhead and parking area is closed. There is no access and no parking for the trails. Please do not come up Kings Canyon unless you live in the area.
The 3rd Street Parking lot is closed until further notice.
Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:
• Arrowhead Drive between Centennial Park Drive and U.S. 50 will be reduced to one lane with flaggers, Tuesday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., for road repairs.
• Caroline Street between Nevada Street and Phillips Street will have roadway work, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for survey and other project preparation activities.
• Carson Street at William Street will have roadway work in the southbound lanes, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for water main repairs.
• Clearview Drive at Silver Sage Drive will have lane adjustments and closures, Tuesday-Wednesday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., for utility and paving work.
• Eagle Station Lane between Carson Street and Silver Sage Drive will be reduced to one lane with flaggers, Monday-Wednesday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., for utility repairs.
• Emerson Drive between College Parkway and Mark Way will be reduced to one lane with flaggers, Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., for roadway reconstruction.
• Long Street between Roop Street and Rand Street will be reduced to one lane with flaggers, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for roadway reconstruction.
• Marian Avenue at Long Street will be flagger controlled, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for roadway reconstruction.
• Molly Street at Long Street will be flagger controlled, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for roadway reconstruction.
• Robinson Street between Mountain Street and Nevada Street will have roadway work, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for survey and other project preparation activities.
• Roop Street at Long Street will be flagger controlled, Monday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., for roadway reconstruction.
• Saliman Road at Long Street will be flagger controlled, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for roadway reconstruction.
• Sonoma Street between S. Carson Street and Silver Sage Drive may have lane restrictions, Monday-Friday, all day for water and sewer utility work.
• State Street at Long Street will be flagger controlled, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for roadway reconstruction.
