The following applies to Nov. 22-28:
Road closures are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:
• Curry Street between 5th Street and Musser Street will be closed in the northbound direction, Monday-Wednesday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for road construction. Pedestrian closures and detours will also be in place.
• Kings Canyon Road west of Longview Way remains closed for roadway reconstruction. Only local residential access will be provided. The Waterfall Trailhead and parking area is closed. There is no access and no parking for the trails. Please do not come up Kings Canyon unless you live in the area.
• Mountain Street between Robinson Street and Washington Street will be closed, Thursday, 7 a.m. to noon, for the Carson City Turkey Trot.
• The 3rd Street Parking lot is closed until further notice.
Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:
• Caroline Street between Division Street and Mountain Street will have roadway work, Monday-Wednesday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for survey and other project preparation activities.
• Emerson Drive between College Parkway and Mark Way will be reduced to one lane with flaggers, Monday-Wednesday, 7 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. , for roadway reconstruction.
• Long Street between Roop Street and Rand Street will be reduced to one lane with flaggers, Monday-Wednesday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for roadway reconstruction. Expect delays.
• Marian Avenue at Long Street will be flagger controlled, Monday-Wednesday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for roadway reconstruction.
• Molly Street at Long Street will be flagger controlled, Monday-Wednesday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for roadway reconstruction.
• Robinson Street between Mountain Street and Nevada Street will have roadway work, Monday-Wednesday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for survey and other project preparation activities.
• Roop Street at Long Street will be flagger controlled, Tuesday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., for roadway reconstruction.
• Saliman Road at Long Street will be flagger controlled, Monday-Wednesday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for roadway reconstruction.
• Spear Street between Mountain Street and Nevada Street will have shoulder work, Monday-Wednesday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for survey and other project preparation activities.
• State Street at Long Street will be flagger controlled, Monday-Wednesday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for roadway reconstruction.
• Telegraph Street between Mountain Street and Nevada Street will have shoulder work, Monday-Wednesday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for survey and other project preparation activities.
