ON A DRAFT FISCAL YEAR 2023 AND
FISCAL YEAR 2024 UNIFIED PLANNING
WORK PROGRAM (“UPWP”)
NOTICE OF THIRTY (30) DAY PUBLIC
COMMENT PERIOD FOR DRAFT FY 2023
AND FY 2024 UNIFIED PLANNING WORK
PROGRAM. This announcement is being
initiated as required by CAMPO’s Public
Participation Plan which requires a thirty (30)
day public comment period before the draft
UPWP document may be approved. The
thirty (30) day public comment period opened
on April 1, 2022 and will close end of day,
May 1, 2022. A presentation, discussion and
solicitation of public comment will be held
on April 13, 2022 at 4:30 pm at the Carson
City Community Center during the regularly
scheduled CAMPO meeting. Copies of the
draft are available at the Carson City Public
Works Department office located at 3505
Butti Way in Carson City and on the CAMPO
website at www.carsonareampo.com.
The UPWP defines the continuing,
comprehensive, and cooperative regional
transportation planning process for CAMPO.
It establishes regional planning objectives
for Fiscal Years 2023 and 2024, covering
the period of July 1, 2022 through June 30,
2024, and includes a corresponding budget to
complete the work. Staff is available Monday
through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00
p.m. to meet with the public and to answer
any questions regarding the UPWP. Public
comments are encouraged during this time.
