Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Woman arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

WEDNESDAY

At 6:08 p.m., a 30-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia, suspended driver’s license and a warrant after deputies attempted to locate the man and found him hiding in a ditch near Carmine Street and Neptune Court. Bail was set at $4,500.

At 11:23 p.m., Heather Moeller, 24, of Carson City, was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, driving without a valid license, no valid insurance, suspended registration and criminal contempt after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Stanton and Fairview Drives. Bail was set at $6,350.

THURSDAY

At 1:29 a.m., a 42-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI-alcohol, suspended registration and no proof of insurance after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 1700 block of N. Carson Street. Bail was set at $1,700.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
