Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Man arrested following high speed chase

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

Carson City

FRIDAY

At 7:50 a.m., Logan Anderson, 29, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony parole and probation violation after deputies conducted a warrant service near the 2600 block of Carmine Street. No bail was set.

At 6:06 p.m., a 22-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia, speed and failure to appear traffic warrant after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Lone Mountain Drive and Winnie Lane. Bail was set at $4,045.

At 6:51 p.m., Delphine Martin, 34, of Reno, was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, felony possession of a controlled substance for sale and driving without a license after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Nevada and Washington streets. At the same incident, Derrick Kindle, 35, of Reno was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, felony possession of a controlled substance for sale, open container and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail for Martin was set at $7,600 and bail for Kindle was set at $8,600.

At 10:17 p.m., Rafael Mendez-Oseguera was arrested on suspicion of a felony bench warrant and a misdemeanor bench warrant after deputies conducted a warrant service near the 1800 block of Nichols Drive. No bail was set.

At 11:18 p.m., a 62-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI and suspended registration after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Silver Sage Drive and Pat Street. Bail was set at $1,250.

At 11:52 p.m., a 50-year-old Reno woman was arrested on suspicion of violation of pre-trial conditions after deputies responded to reports of a possible domestic dispute near the 600 block of Carrie Street. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 11:56 a.m., a 27-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court warrant after conducted a warrant service near the 2100 block of William Street. Bail was set at $10,000.

SATURDAY

At 12:21 a.m., a 29-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of a failure to appear warrant after deputies responded to reports of a welfare check near the 1100 block of William Street. Bail was set at $22,105.

At 12:26 a.m., Ryan Boeddeker, 24, of Kings Beach, Calif., was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance after deputies initiated a consensual stop near the Deer Run Bridge. At the same incident, Dylan Ruiz, 22, of Incline Village was arrested on suspicion of felony parole and probation hold. Bail for Boeddeker was set at $2,500 and no bail was set for Ruiz.

At 1:39 a.m., a 29-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI, lighted lamps required, open container and violation of a suspended sentence after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 500 block of William Street. Bail was set at $4,125.

At 1:41 a.m., a 24-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription, possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal contempt after deputies conducted a consensual stop near 9th and Division streets. Bail was set at $3,500.

At 2:02 p.m., a 65-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of petit larceny and disorderly conduct after deputies responded to reports of a man taking clothing and jewelry from the Carson Street Kohls. Bail was set at $400.

At 7:10 p.m., Kayla Newman, 20, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony maintaining a drug house, possession of drug paraphernalia and obstructing a peace officer after deputies responded to reports of a welfare check near the 1700 block of Russell Way. At the same incident, a 21-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of possession of a concealed weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia; and Ricky Streight, 22, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of violation of pre-trial conditions and possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputies had to detain the suspects by gunpoint because they suspects allegedly refused to obey commands to show their hands and exit the house. Bail for Newman was set at $21,300 bail for Douglas was set at $3,500 and bail for Streight was set at $4,000.

At 9:18 p.m., a 50-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI and failure to maintain a lane after deputies responded to reports of an accident near Horizon and Silver State drives. Bail was set at $1,040.

At 9:52 p.m., Lawrence McGee, 40, of Sparks, was arrested on suspicion of felony trafficking level two, felony possession of a controlled substance for sale, possession of stolen property and failure to yield at a stop sign after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 3300 block of Highway 50. Bail was set at $52,550.

At 20:52 p.m., a 39-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of following too closely and DUI after deputies responded to reports of an accident near Roop Street and Winnie Lane. Bail was set at $1,075.

SUNDAY

At 4:19 a.m., Frank Yarwasky, 61, of Gardnerville, was arrested on suspicion of felony eluding a peace officer and obstruction after deputies responded to reports of a man fleeing from Douglas County deputies. Yarwasky allegedly led deputies on a high speed chase through Carson City via Carson Street before stopping at the N. Carson Street Greater Nevada Credit Union parking lot and allegedly attempted to flee on foot before being taken down by police. Bail was set at $10,500.

At 4:34 a.m., Abdul Wahab, 57, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony attempted burglary after deputies responded to reports of a man attempting to kick in the door of a residence near the 300 block of Stewart Street. Bail was set at $20,000.

At 5:24 a.m., a 49-year-old Belle, Calif., man was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear warrant and possession of drug paraphernalia warrant after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 2400 block of N. Carson Street. Bail was set at $1,292.

At 6:00 p.m., a 19-year-old Carson city man was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear warrant after deputies conducted a consensual stop near Saliman Road and William Street. Bail was set at $195.

At 10:01 p.m., a 19-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of two counts of contempt of court after deputies responded to reports of a hit and run near the 1500 block of Woodside Drive. Bail was set at $3,500.

MONDAY

At 1:49 a.m., a 37-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear warrant after deputies conducted a consensual stop near College Parkway and Sherman Lane. Bail was set at $320.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
