High Sierra Lacrosse invites the public to the annual jamboree in Fallon.

The jamboree is the league’s traditional kickoff to the high school lacrosse season with boys and girls teams from Truckee, North Tahoe, Fallon, Reno and Sparks high schools competing in scrimmages throughout the day.

While the jamboree helps teams and officials prepare for the official start of the season, it’s also a great introduction to lacrosse for those unfamiliar with the game.

The event is being hosted again this year by The Oasis Academy Bighorns Lacrosse program. This year Bighorns Lacrosse will be premiering Fallon’s first high school lacrosse team.
